Abstract :
The Tower of Babble is reference to a biblical fable about building a tower when no-one could speak the same language, they all were giving meaningful instructions to each other in what each person received as meaningless babble. Thus, the name Tower of Babble. Communicating within the restrictions of an unfamiliar culture can often be a humorous and eye-opening experience. I use my experiences in Indonesia as an example of what a person goes through when adjusting to living and working in a completely different culture
