Business development-a system approach

The authors report on the successfully developed use of the IEE Draft Guide to the Practice of System Engineering. Out of the pragmatics of engineering and the concepts, a framework which provides consistency and auditability of project activities has emerged. The framework has been applied successfully in both its informal and formal forms and for both project bids and work in progress. The framework is also providing a basis for tool development to further the model effectiveness to provide continuous improvement of the method.
