            Abstract : 
Streaking artifact due to metal restorations is a problem in CT imaging of the head and neck. An interactive editing method utilizing a Sun/Pixar workstation was developed and tested which deletes metal restoration artifacts. The method developed significantly increased the diagnostic quality of 3D CT images with metal artifacts
