Powerful software has made it so easy to prepare dazzling visual presentations that presenters are tempted to let technology take over. In doing so they sacrifice the potential impact of direct communication with their audience and the ability to monitor and respond to audience reaction as they speak. They can instead emphasize the few graphic visuals that best communicate their key points, and keep text and bulleted visuals to a minimum
