Abstract :
World-class manufacturing (WCM) is a key concept in modern economics. Different perspectives on the philosophy and concepts of WCM features are presented. However, what is regarded as a key element is to choose the best strategy to achieve performance consistent with "the best in the world". The main aim of this paper is to use a combination of FAHP, BSC and FVIKOR techniques to prioritize strategies to achieve world-class manufacturing among firms in the Quanzhou textile and garment industrial clusters. The findings of research indicate a high priority of strategy “design products according to customer needs”, in order to achieve world-class manufacturing.
