Abstract :
The authors make a conjecture concerning the possibility of the image of a multilinear function over a rectangle being a polytope. If true, this result would be useful in robust control problems and provide a complement to the mapping theorem of L.A. Zadeh and C.A. Desoer (Linear Systems Theory, 1963)
