  • Abstract
    The shield tunnel excavation of a city subway under a building will influence its safety. In order to reduce the damages, settlements caused by shield tunnel construction must be controlled strictly. The different settlement of building has been investigated to obtain current parameters. By calculating the internal stress of the structure of building considering its weight, loads and different displacement conditions, the stability and safety indicators have been analyzed. The analysis method can be used to judge the influence of the tunnel construction on buildings, and provide a valuable reference for similar projects.
