Abstract :
As the core of fault diagnose expert system (FDES), perfection level of inference engine and fault knowledge base is one of the most important criteria to evaluate FDES´ efficiency. And how to update the diagnose knowledge with the change of system structure robustly becomes the critical issue in designing a fault diagnose expert system. Aimed at the bottlenecks in current FDES design process, this paper proposes a FDES for hydraulic equipments with fault tree based reasoning capacity. By opening fault tree establishing and dynamical fault diagnose rules generating, the FDES´ diagnose efficiency improves greatly. And the practical application shows that the fault diagnose expert system designed in the work has a good capacity of diagnose knowledge update.
