Abstract :
The influence of the crystalline phase on the α and β-relaxations in thermoplastic polyesters is studied in this paper and the validity of the three phases model is discussed. The TSDC data of various semi-crystalline poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) is compared with the TSDC data of poly(ethylene glycol-co-cyclohexane-1,4-dimethanol terephthalate) (PETG) which is an amorphous copolyester based on PET and PCT
