Abstract :
A low-power single-chip IC is presented for a DTV terrestrial and cable transceiver. The IC can be configured in ATSC (8-VSB) or cable (J.83B 64/256 QAM) plug-and-play modes. The IC also integrates an out-of-band QPSK forward data channel and QPSK/QAM reverse data channel modulator.
