Abstract
The data link layer is used to transport the network layer´s data from the source to the destination node safely. This paper designed and implemented the data link layer by the WIA-PA specification. It designed 5 events which can be triggered by a timer to implement the superframe, designed a reliable data communication method based on active timeslot table and an link transmitting queue, and achieved a time synchronization method from the point of reducing the energy consumption. The results of the experiment showed that the correct rate of data transmitting is better than 80%, and the accuracy of time synchronization is less than 1 microsecond. It met the industrial field requirement.
