Abstract :
Fractal antennas is a new member in the family of antennas. They have peculiar properties that make them interesting candidates for applications where wideband, multiband, input impedance, SWR are important parameters of the overall performance. The use of printed circuit fractal antennas is proposed, investigated, simulated and measured as part of telecommunication systems that has seen a revival lately due to the wireless and mobile consumer applications. Although antennas have been used for long time, they have many limitations. The fractal antennas offer solutions to a number of these limitations and can be manufactured as useful planar shapes for consumer applications.
