Abstract :
In this paper, a web-based distance education system is described. It consists of two parts: a courseware making tool and a distance learning management system. By using the courseware making tool, teachers can make web-based multimedia courseware flexibly. Students learn the courseware through the learning management system. Moreover, the learning management system provides several tools, such as information searching tool, individual noting tool and interactive tool. This let students study efficiently
