Abstract :
Here we are interested in the properties of bulk polymer solids, so that, using cyclic boundary condition, we can treat relatively long chains in the configuration interaction (CI) calculation with all single and double excitations taken into consideration. The third order susceptibility, is calculated in the SD-CI approximation using PPP hamiltonian for polymer rings
