Abstract :
We propose a novel channel estimation method for polarization-division-multiplexed (PDM) OFDM that improves the signal tolerance to nonlinear cross-phase modulation in WDM transmission. The improvement is quantified numerically in a 112-Gb/s PDM-OFDM based WDM system.
