  • Abstract
A microprocessor-driven luminometer designed to perform bioluminescence assays is presented. The device features a high throughput as well as reduced operational complexity. The microprocessor-based controller, the host computer interface, and the light measurement technique are discussed. The controller interfaces with four subsystems: the x-y positioning table control circuitry, the counter interface circuit, an electromechanical injector, and the host computer
