Abstract :
This panel provides an outlook for the role of functional languages in parallel programming from the perspective of researchers who are actively involved in the design and implementation of parallel functional languages. The panel focuses on developments in parallel programming and functional programming and their interactions. The panelists discuss the impact of these developments on the future of parallel functional languages from the perspective of their research groups
