Abstract :
Data on the yield and spectra of secondary electrons from the materials consisted from the matrix (carbon) and spherical insertions (copper or tantalum) randomly and uniformly distributed in the matrix, irradiated by X-rays have been obtained. The theoretical analysis of the data has been carry out. Peculiarity of formation of flux of secondary electrons from microheterogeneous media has been revealed. Basing on the formulated conclusions a model of the yield of secondary electrons has been built. The possibility of using the model for solving some problems is discussed
