Abstract :
An ultrafast all-optical NOR gate using intersubband and interband transitions in quantum wells is proposed. A proof-of-principle experiment is demonstrated using InGaAs/AlAsSb coupled quantum well structures operating at communication wavelengths (1.55 μm and 1.3 μm).
