Abstract :
We propose a novel scheme for continuous-phase frequency-shift-keying (CP-FSK) optical modulation. By synchronizing the baseband signal with the clock for sideband generation, external CP-FSK modulation is demonstrated at 10 Gbit/s for the first time.
