Abstract
A technique of preserved eggshell cracks identification Based on polarized characteristics was presented in the experiment, the target was illuminated by sodium lamp, and in terms of different polarization degree of eggshell spots and cracks, the polarization images of the target were obtained by the Polarization Optical System. The Stokes images and polarization images were calculated by fusion technique. The result showed that the scattering light of background was filtered by polarization image, and the contrast was increased obviously. Therefore the technique of polarization imaging can increase detective and discriminative efficiency.
