  • Abstract
    For electric vehicles (EVs), sometimes it´s very difficult to decide whether it need to be charged on the way to destination because the remaining power varies hugely under different working conditions. In this paper, a new method is proposed, which is Based on C2C communication technology and the shortest route with lowest electric power consumption will be calculated and decided. And meanwhile, this method can also help drivers to find the nearest charging station if necessary. Firstly, the different conditions of electric power consumption for EVs are analyzed compared with combustion engine vehicles of defining the shortest route. Then a new method to search the optimized route is proposed which is Based on the C2C communication technology. After that, different routing optimization algorithms are used to simulate the proposed method in Matlab. The simulation result proved the method and it can be used in many field applications.
