  • Abstract
    Gain equalizer is often used to adjust the output gain of traveling wave tubes(TWT) or high power solid state amplifiers. Traditionally, millimeter wave gain equalizer is composed of waveguide with electromagnetic wave absorber in resonance circuit. However, this structure is large, heavy, complex, not convenient to integrate. In this paper, a millimeter wave gain equalizer is fulfilled by microstrip resonant branch with thin film resistance integrated. The simulated results show that the equalization curve meet requirements well. Finally, on the basis of technology precision, we researched the error analysis of thin film resistance, the results proved this structure is practical and the design procedure is effective.
