  • Abstract
    The analog fiber-optic link for Shanghai 65m radio telescope comprise PSI-1602 broadband microwave photonic link and 500 meters Corning optical cable. Performance measurement of the analog fiber-optic link is discussed. First, explained the measurement principles and methods of the PSI-1602 broadband microwave photonic link. Then, elaborated the group delay temperature coefficient measurement of Corning smf28e optical fiber. At last, the measurement results of the analog fiber-optic link are given and discussed. The measured data of optical fiber temperature coefficient show that for temperature higher than 20°C, the group delay of the optical fiber varies within 10.3 ppm·°C-1 on average, 20°C lower, it varies within 36.3 ppm·°C-1 on average, which is more significant than higher temperature.
