Abstract :
More than 10,000 km transmission capability was confirmed with 43 Gbit/s CSRZ-DPSK and conventional DMF lines. But the polarization dependent effects never guaranteed the complete stability at 4,300 km where a Q-factor margin of 5 dB was obtained in the short-term evaluation.
