Abstract :
A measurement system using a personal computer and a magnetic sensor to examine the relationship between the motion of the upper limb and the muscles involved in the motion is described. The three-dimensional position of the upper limb is expressed as Euler angles. The three angles are amplified and fed into the personal computer. Signals from the magnetic sensor and the electromyogram signals are processed in real time by the computer and displayed on a CRT and stored on a floppy disk
