Abstract :
In this paper, a novel design of compact patch antenna with wavy-slot structure is presented. Input and radiation characteristics of an S-band wavy-slot patch antenna are studied. Furthermore, effects of several design parameters, including outer radius of the semicircle of the wavy slot, slot width, distance between slots, and feeding point position on reflection coefficient and radiation pattern are discussed.
