Abstract
Summary form only given. We have been building integrated humanoid robots with which people can interact in social ways; eye contact, prosody, gaze direction, reaching, etc. This has given us a platform on which to implement theories of cognitive function and development. Because the models must truly be connected to each other, rather than to the literature, all the details of, simplified at least, theories need to be worked through to make successful systems.
