Abstract :
This paper considers the decentralized control application to looper system in hot strip finisher mill which is very famous in steel making process. Decentralized control theory has been extended into H-infinity optimization and reduction of interaction among subsystems in frequency domain. Authors have defined time domain formulation for interaction measure by means of Lyapunov function. Then decentralized state feedback control method is derived for control channel for the sake of simplicity of controller structure
