Abstract :
In many applications the localization of a wireless communications receiver is important. Localization of a GSM type signal is obtained by using the fourth order moment by denoising wavelet detail coefficients. The performance, as a function of the SNR and mean squared error for the time difference of arrival (TDOA) is obtained.
