Abstract
Wireless sensor networks have become an important field in our daily lives. A particularly important issue is prolonging the network lifetime using energy saving schemes. This article focuses on tuning an energy saving scheme using coverage metrics. We proposed the energy saving scheme in a previous work. It is based mainly on sensors redundancy combined with graph theory. We introduced best obstacle avoidance by computing the rank of each trajectory. We also created different test scenarios for proving our approach. Tests results are presented in the end.
