Abstract
A retinal chip based on the neuromorphic model derived from the rabbit\´s retina called "on sluggish sustained ganglion cell set" is proposed in this paper. The proposed chip contains a 32 ?? 32 pixel array with 101 ?? 100 ??m2 pixel size and the fill factor of 9.14%. Five percent inter-pixel DC level variation is achieved by adopting a linear transconductor as the V-I convertor. The function of the chip is verified by the experimental results which are consistent with biological measurement ones. The potential applications are sensor system, computer vision, and visual prosthesis.
