Abstract
The influence of the azimuth angle on polarimetric bistatic scattering from a two-dimensional sea rough surface is studied for different wind parameters. Based on the Kirchhoff Approximation (KA), the polarimetric scattered field is derived in Cartesian coordinate system by integration of slope matrices. The HH and HV polarized bistatic radar cross section (RCS) is numerically simulated and the dependence of the polarimetric bistatic scattering on azimuth angle is discussed in different wind speeds and wind directions.
