Abstract
Various microstrip antenna (MSA) configurations are available to achieve circular polarization (CP). CP is obtained when two orthogonal modes are excited with equal magnitude and 90/spl deg/ phase difference. Different feeder techniques are available to achieve CP. In this paper, a suspended four feed square MSA is proposed for broad bandwidth. Comparison of two and four feed square MSA configurations has also been included. Studies have been carried out using commercially available IE3D software followed by experimental verifications.
