Abstract :
Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology is one of the promising technology for the Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs), especially for the implanted one. The implanted device needs to be very small. Therefore, limitation on the implanted device size will put limitation on the antenna dimension, which will affect the antenna efficiency. It is necessary to know the propagation mechanism, as device is going to communicate from/to loosy media. we are presenting a theoretical studies on the UWB antenna to be used inside the human head for the frequency range of 3.1-10.6 GHz.
