Abstract :
This paper presents a research project of "Future Learning Environments: Spaces, places and services for learning and new knowledge creation" that aims to define the opportunistic uses of future university campus environments for collaborative and innovative learning activities. Especially open and public university campus spaces, such as lobbies and cafeterias have many unplanned uses (for example self-organized student group work) that could be better supported with suitable pervasive and ubiquitous infrastructure.
