Abstract
There is a “wind of change” sweeping across the global economy. The world´s major companies in their attempts to be world class are demanding far more from their suppliers, who in turn demand more from their suppliers. Typically corporate buyers are only accepting the best quality and demanding delivery on time. Primarily they want lower total costs, reliable faster delivery, no inventory and superb quality products and services-and that is just their opening list
