  • Abstract
    An ultra-wideband bandpass filter with dual-notched band is proposed using slotted step-impedance resonator (SSIR) and embedded fold-slot feed structure. The proposed filter has two notches in the passband, resulting from the embedded fold-slot feed. The center frequencies and bandwidths of the notched bands can be controlled by adjusting dimensions of the embedded fold-slot. The wider upper stopbands caused by slot resonator characteristics have been also obtained. A good agreement between the simulated and measured results is observed. The filter has dual-notched band with center frequencies of 5.6 GHz and 9.3 GHz, respectively. High stopband performances with better than 15 dB for a frequency range up to 18 GHz have also been obtained.
