Abstract :
This paper presents a comprehensive technique for increasing the frequency tuning range of a circular microstrip antenna using double shorting posts at different radial distances from the centre of the patch. A simple mathematical expression is presented which predicts the resonant frequency of perturbed antenna with precision.
