Abstract :
Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(IPMSM) is used for wide applications because of its large torque density and high efficiency. However, IPMSM has large space harmonics and strong magnetic nonlinearity. The establishment of the dynamic characteristic analysis technique is required to examine control techniques to high performance and high efficient drive of IPMSM. In the paper, a new matrix model of an IPMSM based on the magnetic circuit model is proposed. The matrix can be used in the system level simulator such as Matlab/SIMULINK considering space harmonics and magnetic nonlinearity with high grade control. The simulation model is verified with experimental results.
