Abstract
The CLi6000 series of field-programmable gate arrays is especially well suited to the special needs of data-path applications-applications ranging from low-level ´bit twiddling´ to computationally intensive algorithms. The architecture of the CLi6000 is described, emphasizing the features most important in data-path applications: the CLi6000´s high register count, NAND/XOR cell states, multiplexer states, fine-grained architecture, array symmetry, and high cell connectivity.<>
