Abstract :
The second-generation Snakes workstation, the HP 9000/735, is described. Large performance gains were accomplished by improving processor efficiency and by increasing the operating frequency by 50% to 99 MHz. Large memory configurations of up to 400 MByte are supported, with 16 MByte implemented on board. Integration techniques allow higher performance and greater function at lower cost.<>
