Abstract :
Summary form only given. A groundwork for comparative analysis of studies employing different sensor systems to determine if a standard method can be recommended has been established. Interface pressures were measured on ten normal volunteers using the different sensors. Linear regression analysis was performed on the data. The data were also analyzed to determine if rankings of support surfaces were the same even though absolute measured pressure values varied between sensor systems
