Abstract :
In collaboration with the Hospital in Ostrava the analysis of postoperative complications of patients after colorectal´s operation is provided. It is possible to perform two types of operations: open and laparoscopic. The goal is modeling the risk of postoperative complications in dependence on different variables. We use Cox proportional hazard model to analyze censored data. After analysis we will be able to predict which type of operation is better for new patients.
