  • Abstract
A vision system designed for automatic inspection of galvanized and painted metallic strips is described. After a description of the image acquisition device, the different original algorithms which detect and recognize flaws on the strips are presented. These tasks are run in real-time on a specific hardware structure. The prototype described is integrated on a production line to evaluate its efficacy
