Abstract :
High volume testing of surface mount MMIC devices is moving upward in frequency. The need for long-life, high-frequency test fixtures is becoming more critical. This paper describes a test fixture usable to at least 6 GHz and capable of 5 million test insertions. The fixture can handle devices with as little as 20 mil pitch.
