Abstract
Existing supervision software packages are frequently designed without the possibility of integrating them with any other computer applications. The integration is one of the important keys for the implementation of the CIM concept. An analysis of the existing supervision software packages is presented and compared with industrial needs. Based on that analysis, a new architecture for the supervision integrated systems is proposed
