Abstract :
We present a commercial access and transmission fiber optic system optimized for the fiber to the curb (FTTC) and fiber to the office (FTTO) applications. The system concept is based on the incorporation of time division multiplexing (TDM), subcarrier multiple access (SCMA) and coarse wavelength division multiplexing (WDM). This system architecture provides wide applications flexibility and graceful possibilities for the provision of future advanced services on a passive optical network (PON)
