Abstract
The authors present a microchip control feedback multifunction training system for paralyzed patients. With the system, the patients can do standing, quadriceps muscle strength, bike riding and some other exercises. A microchip used as a CPU and special digital sensors are employed to implement the small programmable system. The flexible system structure allows easy expansion of the number of channels and functions. Results from a half-year trial are discussed. The condition of the patients improved noticeably after one month
