Abstract
The performance of subjects tested for a bidimensional task under four visual conditions is compared. Target objects are presented on a graphic screen. The basic task consists of moving an object though a trajectory defined between obstacles (so as to simulate a robot pick-and-place task, hand-controlled on a graphic display). The performance of the operator is defined in terms of time and space errors between response and target trajectories presented in two spatial referential modes. The experimental results are summarized
